Default Ti exhaust question

Hi

Besides being lighter and looking better and maybe having a little more aggressive note what am I missing?

Love the way they look, but is there a performance gain of any kind?

Thanks

Sure-dropping weight adds performance-easiest way to add it. And they generally cost less than 1/2 the price of the aftermarket stuff.

Less weight, better looks and a little bit better sound. Other than that you're not gaining much.

Recently changed from Corsas to Ti's to lower the sound level to pacify my bride. A side benefit is that the 99 LS1/LS6 seems to have picked up a bit of low end torque.

Yes the Ti muffler flows better than the LS1 stock muffler.

I had a picture (somewhere) of one cut open and it constructed like a glass pack (Stainless Steel packing) with chambers for reversion and drone control. Very free flowing!

So,, how much more HP?? Most likely 10-12 on a non modded engine. The cool part is that they handle Mods very well and still control drone (until you get really deep into serious mods) with out being a power restrictor

it isnt that you are going to gain any hp. They just dont restrict as much so hp that is already there is allowed to come out instead of being restricted. There are people on this site that have dyno sheets showing 500 rwhp on the stock Tis. I doubt very seriously that if they changed pipes that they would show any real difference.
