Default lowered pics

Ive read up on lowering the c5 and everything was going perfect till i came to the front driver side bolt it won't movie..I had it soaking over night with pb blaster and went back today and still wouldn't turn and i ended up stripping the head..I sprayed it again and ill let it set for awhile since its not my dd but i don't know what to do now..ive heard people using heat so i might try that in a few days but i really don't feel like cutting the bushings which is that last resort or just raise the rest of the bolts back and not lower it..

You have to get on the bottom side of it with a big pair of channel locks. That will get it free.

First!!
Make sure that you have your car is safely raised & supported, to where it will not drop & kill you.

I would use a set of very large channel locks or pipe wrench & turn the adjusters from the bottom ( bushing side ) to get the adjuster to screw upwards.

Ideally, if you had another set of after market adjusters on hand, I would unscrew the (messed up ) adjuster out all the way & out of the spring & replace it with the aftermarket one.
Good luck.

I have the same problem and I think the rubber bushing has vulcanized to the spring.

You lift lightly towards the very end of the spring, & try & then slide a puttyknife under the rubber bushing.
Once the knife slides under the bushing, you will then know that the bushing isn't froze to the lower member.

Finally loosened it by wiggling the super tight channel locks back forth and kept spraying lube on the bolt while i was doing it..flynhi you need to try that even though you'll probably mess your bolt head up..ill post pics of the car when i get home

I actually twisted the hex portion of one of mine off using a 6 pt socket. In my case, it turned out the bolt was bent! So I had to cut it in place and turn the remainder out. And rusted in like crazy to boot. I used heat as well.

In fact, when I got a front Z06 spring used, it had the bolts in it. Neither were frozen, but one of them was also bent. It seems to be an issue no one notices. I did a post on it here some time back.

BTW, these bolts are not available in stock form.
