A few weeks ago here is how it happened with my C5 convert 100% stock.3:15'S A4.
Easy pull to 130 then to 140 bit more time to get to 160 MPH still pulling but let off. Girls(two) screaming go to 180 !!!! I was the one that was scared(or had at least some common sense) I let off but it felt like it had more.All I was hearing was 'Go for it" !!!!!
Man you start to feel like you are moving at 140 !!!! :crazy:

O-Ace: you are .5 right. There is a small '2' just to the upper left of the large '1' digit that comes on. So, you'd have small '2' large 01 for 201mph.
BTW, I didn't stay long at 200 KPH and I was not paying too much attention to the HUD after the double zeros.

125MPH I know this is low however, I have no mods everything including the tires are stock and I was not sure if I was pushing it. I Had it in fourth and I know that I had alot left.
What is normal top speed with this setup without causing problems? Also, is there any problem keepiong it in fourth gear at lets say normal freeway speed I like this gear because it gives me power when I need it. But is it not th ecorrect way to drive the car?

You guys are flying.... I topped out my stock '97 Trans Am (LT1) around 165 and it was just about out of power at that point, but it sure got there quicker than anyone expected :D My friend was driving his Dakota R/T (not that quick, but for a truck plenty of power) going 80 mph and he said he felt like he was sitting ont he side of the road watching someone drive by.

168 in a base rear-end A4 coupe on an arrow straight highway in Nevada.
Got it up there, saw it wasn't going to go any faster, then thought "I'd better slow the F*ck down!"

I got my 99 coupe to 172 or so and the fun stopper kicked in. I have since got a programmer and removed the speed limiter (or more precisely bumped it up to 255) but I haven't been able to get a top speed run in yet. Got close to 160 a couple times and had to back off cause I ran up on traffic. :cool:
I only drive the posted speed limit at all times.
