Lot's of threads on this subject but for me I do an oil change, fresh gas and a full detail. Then I put on a battery tender and cover her up. For you since you don't have electricity you'll want to pull the battery and put some rodent precautions in place.

Add some Sta-Bil to a full tank of fresh gas before driving to your storage unit.

Remove your battery, since there's no 120 volt power available, and top off the charge about once a month.

If your radio security is activated, either disable the code or make sure you have it written down somewhere!

Lots of dryer sheets in the car and in the engine bay! Rodents hate them!

I live in upstate ny also and will be storing it inside but with outdoor temps prevailing. I'm also concerned about the rodent problem. How many dryer sheets and anything else also that can be used???

Had a friend who used drier sheets, the mice used them for a nest under the fuel rail covers.

I put the car in a "Carbag" and set some traps inside the bag and around the outside as well. Car stays dry and no mice in many years thus far.
