Battery drain issue
1998 w/less than 40k mileage. Driven sporadically every couple of weeks. Placed Optima Red Top in her about 2 months ago. There seems to be an electric drain that kills the battery. Any thoughts?

Have you measured the current drained from the battery after the car goes into "sleep"? It's hard to tell what's happening without knowing that.
With the kind of usage you put on your car, have you thought about using a battery tender?

Let us know what you find and how you made out..
I agree. For all those people that store their car during the winter,, just charge the battery fully and disconnect it, When you are ready to go in the spring, recharge it, reconnect it and you will be good to go.
You will have to reprogram the Memory stuff but, thats pretty simple..
