Default k harness

How do I know if I have the K harness installed. GM told me I have had the recall done on my car. 2002 coupe. I want to install the clb but I have to remove the K harness first.

You have to take the lower part of the dash off and look for it.

Find the small four wire connector under the steering column that the CLB plugs into and the K karness will be plugged into it. remove it and install the CLB

CLB instructions say remove the K harnes. That would include the relay as well? Thanks for your help.

What is the connector with the two wire connected to? Or is these two wires (female connector) not connected to anything?

You're absolutely correct. I'm sorry but just wanted to know what I'm getting into before I F&^k it up. So what I'm hearing is the female connector with the two wires in it is NOT connected to anything. Just follow the wire back to the relay and then to the lock connector. I think it's easy enough. I just need to remove the LMC5R and put it back to stock before I remove the K harness (If installed) and install the CLB. Thanks you've been a great help and motivator. Gonna get it done this weekend.
