What are my options?
So the emblem on the rear deck is peeling up. Is there a proper way to get this to adhere or do I need to remove it and buy a new one?
If I have to remove it, what works best? Fishing line is what I have heard.
Thanks

Remove it!! Its called the slick mod!
Warm it up with a hair drier, slide some fishing line thru the adhesive pad, Use some Goue Be Gone or WD40 and work the residue off the trunk lid.
Use some light compound on the area and then polish it.
It will look something like this when you get the emblem off:
Once its compounded and polished, it will be smooth as glass.

Exactly what I was thinking!!
Over the years, I've been known to remove emblems and decals from my cars and trucks, but IMHO, that particular emblem performs an important function.

I find I need a logo or sign at least every foot or so. Else how would I ever identify my car in a large parking lot?

That method works very well.
