What do you need from your breaking system??

Is it a daily driver with occasional spirited driving?

Track car?

HPDE / Autocross car??

For the average guy who just wants to make the brakes work a little better than stock and doesn't want to spend $1500-$2000 on new brakes, new NAPA Premium Rotors and ZO6 pads will work excellent. If you dont do track events every weekend, and dont do tripple didget speeds to 20 mph wvery day, quality NAPA rotors will be all you need.. Oh, there like $60ish each1

Your stock OEM Brakes will easily out do the grip of anything other than out and out race rubber.

Its been proved that drilled rotors are NOT all that they are trumped up to be.

If you want something better than stock, and still not breaking the bank, get SLOTTED ROTORS.

If you want to SPLURGE and break the bank and need the BLING,, purchase some of the aftermarket big rotor and multi-piston replacement calipers!

Here is a good post for you to examine

you can get ac delco rotors shipped off amazon around 40 each

the stock z06 pads are pretty good but very spendy for what you get

the stoptech street pads are $120 for front and rear shipped and perform very similar in dust with a bit better fade resistance

makes the engine job with delco rotors, stoptech pads an a liter of ATE super blue fluid $300 shipped

We offer many options for the C5. I like the premium package with the e-coating. This helps fight off the rust that many experience with oem rotors.

Carbotech has a lot of options what are you looking for just street or track also?

Carbotech Performance Brakes™ began 17 years ago. In the beginning we thought like everybody else and made brake compounds out of carbon & iron. The problem with carbon & iron is that when it heats up it forms carbide. Carbide is used in cutting tools, so imagine what that does to your rotors. Along with the fact that those compounds tear up rotors, they also produce very corrosive brake dust. While our competition stills uses carbon & iron as the main ingredients in their compounds, Carbotech started an entire new philosophy eight years ago.

Carbotech Performance Brakes™, the world leader in Ceramic friction materials™. It was over eight years ago that Carbotech started building brake pads out of Ceramic, Kevlar, and Carbon for street, autocross and racing applications. Carbotech is the only brake pad manufacturer in the world with a complete line of Ceramic compounds for street, autocross, and track use. Carbotech-Ceramic™ compounds are known for their unsurpassed release & modulation, while maintaining very consistent torque control characteristics. Carbotech brake pads are extremely rotor friendly and contain 100% non-corrosive brake dust, that’s something that has been unmatched by any other brake pad in the industry.
