Good all around cam for a stock automatic c5 with 3.42 gears and a 3400 RPM torque converter C5 that will have plenty of torque and pass CA smog test with flying color

Something like a 220/224 .595/.585 115LSA camshaft would pass and provide plenty of "off idle" torque. Would peak around 6200.
Seeing as installing a camshaft in a C5 is an expensive and time consuming effort you'll want to stay more on the conservative side to ensure you don't have to change cams twice because of a failed emissions test.
