a/c issue

a/c issue
with no codes being sent I get the hot air on the passenger side and cool air in the middle and left vents when a/c is on .......again, no codes with it....do I replace the actuator and are there two actuators..one for each side??

Depends on what HVAC System that you have. Do you have a Dual Zone or the Manual Climate Control system?
For knowledge sake, if you have the manual climate control, the Temp Door actuator IS NOT monitored by the BCM. If it malfunctions, NO CODES will be received.
If you have the dual zone climate control, there is an actuator for each side and if they fail, the HVAC module will send a message to the BCM thus your DTC will be set.
If you turn the HVAC system OFF and back ON, both actuators should CYCLE full range (calibrate its self) and then stop on the set temperature.
You can hold you ear near the center vent and should be able to hear the motors cycle. You can visually observe the drivers side actuator if you remove the under dash close out panel.
The way the EVAPORATOR COIL is set up, if the R-134 charge is LOW, cooling on one half of the system will be less than optimal or non existent.
If you select HEAT, is the temp equal on both sides?
