Thanks.
And purple wire is perfect continuity to ground which I'm sure it shouldn't be.
Eating breakfast and about to get back on it soon. Keep you posted
10-4 heading back under now. Report back shortly on what happens. Now that wire doesn't run to anything else correct? So if we have to I can cut it out and bypass it with a new one
It does not go anywhere else from what I looked at. I verified that from the C1 connector pin outs and the schematic I provided. I can provide that if you want to look at it. Not at home now. I can double check again later.
Make sure it has not grounded to the exhaust near the starter. Didn't you say there was an internal issue you found in the fuse box?
It isn't but that lead has continuity to ground from the starter post. Have gotten Header out yet almost there though so I can pull that wire off the terminal
If you look at the schematic the Purple wire at the starter only has the coil resistance to ground so it may seem to be grounded. When power via the Purple wire is applied the solenoid will be activated.
Showing 0 ohm resistance to ground on it. Sorry still fighting with the header lol.
Wires aren't melted to the header at least... well unfortunately cause thay would be the easy fix. And can't get to anything with the header in place of course. Getting there though
