There was a guy on here that posted a picture of an expensive BMW M5 that lost its Engine OIL cap..
The owner deciced to plug the fill hole with a SOCK.
Needless to say, the engine ate the sock and it worked its way into the oiling system and anywhere it could have wound its guts around stuff that spins.
Chauk up one BMW M5 engine!

The ONLY two things that I have seen cause a ONE DAY GOOD to the next day BAD oil pressure reading is:
-The Pump "INTERNAL" Relief Valve gets stuck in the fully OPEN position.
- The O Ring between the pump and pick up tube fails (this usually happens as a result of poor reassembly)
Need to add... some jackass leaving a rag in the oil pan
