I don't see why not. Should be able to use a heat gun to loosen the glue. Be aware that the front also has two small posts that fit into the bumper.

Yes it can removed and as stated in the previous post be careful of the pins that go into the bumper for alignment. I used a thin putty knife to remove it.

You will need new adhesive double sided tape and a razor knife to trim around the emblem for reinstallation. Cleaning the old tape off is a pain but it can be done.

Good luck with your repair

I would probably use a hair dryer as it will not get quite as hot.

Get some 3M double sided tape and trim the excess away from the emblem. Will hold just like the factory stuff.

HA,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I have an 02 ZO6. A buddy of mine told me that the car looks a LOT better with that DAMN rear deck emblem removed.

Thought for sure that there would be HOLES for pins. NOPE. Used the WD-40, heat gun and fishing line. GONE and NEVER looked back!

YES,,,,,, the car does look a LOT better without the emblem!

YES, there are holes in the front bumper for the alignment pins>

02 Z WITHOUT EMBLEM!

WITH AN EMBLEM!

I also installed the rubber seals for the hood/fender to the rear trunk lid opening to help keep out dirt!
