STS Smoke Issue Please Help!!!
I have a 00 C5 with an STS kit on it. It has the single wastegate and the STS PCV system has been removed. I have a new (<3k miles) forged motor from Thompson Motorsports, rebuilt 243 heads, a Mighty Mouse catch can, new Comp Turbos with 0.065" oil restrictors, and an old I believe Turbo Werks single pump. The car makes up to 85psi oil pressure on the new motor and as low as 50psi. The car does not smoke at idle, during startup, or during boost, but smokes like a train when you lift after high boost. It does not smoke at all during normal engine braking deceleration. I am making around 14psi of boost on this car. I want to take this car on power tour this year and need to get this issue resolved. Any ideas????

I'm not a forced induction C5 guy but I use to have a turbo charged VOLVO! Learned a LOT about FI keeping that thing on the road..
I had a similar issue but it only smoked sometimes. I found out that my intercooler was loaded up with oil. I opened the intercooler drain valve and dumped out the oil. Problem solved.
That being said, Is the blow off valve working normally and do you have any abnormal oil around the BOV outlet>

You may be onto something with the BOV. My tuner did recently change the spring out. I am experiencing some compressor surge as well.

Anything to get you back on the road! I know a VOLVO is NOT a performance car BUT, I had a Blast beating some common day "PERFORAMNCE" Cars by just air flow and boost enhancements..Its EPIC to see the look on a 5.0 drivers face when you pull off from him...
