Ok car is totally reassembled and driving great. BUT... I have check engine light after a few miles so came back home.

Im showing codes
P1133
P1153

Both sensors wouldn't go bad at the same time right??
did I just switch them when I hooked them up?

Im gonna switch them, clear codes and see what happens.

The rears are counter intuitive. They cross over the top, so the harness for the left is on the right and vice versa for the other side.

switched, cleared, and went for a ride. good as new!

I'm still not exactly sure what the issue was with the trans, But she seems to be running perfect now. Trans feels like it shifts smoother for sure. could be the trans rebuild, or maybe new slave cylinder. IDK at this point.

Thanks for everyones help and hopefully my next post won't be as scary.

the trans rebuild is likely the reason it shifts smoother... if you have an aftermarket shifter and clutch the difference is amazing compared to how it came from the factory... glad you got it back together and on the road where it belongs

I have an MGW shifter and SPEC stage 2 clutch.

It needs a new master cylinder though. If I hold the clutch all the way down and rev it up in first, the car will inch forward a little. That should help shifting even more. So that will be my next upgrade and then aftermarket mounts for engine and diff.

Just saw your post so I am a bit late to help. Mine did the same thing once, I just pulled towards 4th with all my mite and it popped loose. That was probably 4 or 5 years ago. I have not had the problem since but I did quit the speed shifting at high rpm.

I pulled on it pretty good. I felt like if I pulled any harder, I was gonna break something. I figured I would take the Brain over brawn in this situation since the car was brand new to me. I have however Put over a thousand miles on the car since the rebuild and I beat the **** out of it. Still seems Rock solid, and I still have no idea what was wrong. But I love my vette.
