I have noticed a pulsing upon the brake pedal during braking. In my far ago younger days when I could service my own vehicles, that symptom would lead me to believe that I have one or more warped rotors. I intend to take it to a brake service provider for their inspection. Since I live in Gwinnett County, Georgia, given the nature of auto service centers, I fully expect to be told that I will need a full workup for my brakes. I have a one week solo vacation drive through Florida, so yeah, like it or not, with the pulsing, I should see to this before I go.
A question please. In one picture, the caliper with the Corvette logo is on the front, the other image, the rear. My ask, please. Is this correct? Does one have the logo and the other not?
The pulsing comes from pad deposits on the rotor. Hot spots develop on a very very small level and being to build up on that hot spot. Thats probably what you feel.
See this whitepaper in regards to "warped" rotors.
I had this issue last year on my Malibu. NAPA replaced the rotors for free when I told them but I am beginning to think its actually their pads that are the issue creating deposts on the rotor because it is just starting again and it has been less than a year. I may just go with different pads if it happens again and clean the rotors while its apart.
The other thing you could do, if you don't want service locally, is find a good Corvette service shop in Florida and have them look at it.

Your rear rotor looks real worn but that's from what I see in the pic.
A break job is not too expensive and easy to do. Might be a good project for you now. BrakeMotive has some great deals on rotors/pads.
I have some more aggressive pads on mine, Hawk HPS and I have never had that issue. The slightly softer stock pads seem to have that problem. The Hawks have good initial bite and a decent heat capacity for high speed braking.

I also had great success with Hawk HPS pads. I'm currently using the pads that came with the BrakeMotive kit....also very good stopping power and little dusting.
