You can buy my SLP Loudmouth system. You'll go deaf, but even if it still drones, it won't bother you anymore.

Which Magnaflows did you have? The one with the mid mounted mufflers in the x pipe, or the one with the stock location mufflers?

When you had the Magnaflows did you have the X pipe or stock H pipe ? I currently have Magnaflow system 16732 with the stock H pipe. The only time I have a problem with drone is at 1500 rpm(70 mph) in 6th gear. I'm considering installing an X pipe.

My Borla's are loud but I like them a lot. They sound so much better then a stock system.

I had the Magnaflows on my '02 with the x-pipe. It still droned between 1400-1600 RPM and it became even worse once I added headers. I tried all kinds of remedies to reduce the drone, but without any success. Supposedly measuring the frequency of the drone and building/installing a j-pipe (as mentioned above) will work, but I had given up fixing the problem and had sold the car (unrelated events) before I found out about the j-pipe. Went with the Corsa Sport for my '03 and there is no drone at any rpm.

Love my Borla exhaust and x-pipe.

I guess some people think the stingers drone. So they came out with the stinger II that actually has a larger muffler instead of the chamber in the pipe like the old stingers. I think the original stingers sound great.

Before the stingers and borla x-pipe, I had QTP electric cut outs on the factory h-pipe. Made the car sound like an old truck, and it droned like you wouldn't believe. Like at certain speeds, you could feel a resonance changing the air pressure inside the cabin. I don't get anything like that with the Borlas. I also considered Billy Boat Bullets, but was afraid it would be too loud. The stingers are a happy medium. At idle it's not loud at all. But really comes alive at around 3k rpm. But you can still have a conversation and hear the radio. It's not insanely loud, but is way louder than the stock mufflers.

Cam, headers, x-pipe, catless, Corsa's = no drone.
