Column Lock, ARGH!
After bleeding my brakes tonight, when i went to start the car I got the dreaded Service Column Lock!!!! :mad
But with the info I found on the forums, I was able to get control of it again. :cheers:
I've had most of the common C5 problems in the 7 months or so I've owned the car, and yet I still love it. whats up with that??

The jist of how I did it was turn the key to on (but do not start). Then jerk the wheel as hard as you can left and right and curse at it alot. Then start the car and pray. Repeat several times.
if you search the forums, you'll find alot of variations of that. dunno which is the 'best' way.
