I am looking to see if anyone has ever had a similar problem or advice.
2000 Corvette, auto, 100k miles, headers, intake, was lowered for several years, year ago raised to stock height.
The problem.
Driving 60 MPH traffic stops I have to slam on the brakes, brakes lock up and skid for 30 feet. Ever since that incident the car feels and sounds like I am running over bumps in the road.
Thank you for any advice.

Warped rotors? Is it only bumpy when applying brakes, or all the time?
Good question. If it's only when applying brakes, the rotors are probably not warped, but there is a good chance of a high spot on the rotor from the brake pads getting hot after the panic stop and resting on the rotor surface. Especially if you're using generic off the shelf cheap pads from a local supplier. A good brake bed-in procedure will likely fix that.
Unless your ABS isn't working and you flat spotted a tire, I don't see it being anything else if it's related to this 60mph stop incident.

OR, a broken shock. Get the car off the ground, high enough to check each wheel and suspension. Ball joints, tie rods out of adjustment. It could be one of many things. You have to get under it and take a look.
