LS2 TB Fast 92 problems
Installed a Fast 92 & Gold Ls2 TB on my 02Z . At first had issue @ WOT going into limp mode was told I need silver blade LS2 TB that Ls2 Gold will not work .
Purchased a silver LS2 TB and know problem is worse . i did HP tuners scan get to about 42% throttle position and goes into limp mode code 1220 ?
With the Ls2 Gold TB get to about 98% Throttle position and then shuts down.
I did continuity test on adaptor harness all seem good . Have TPS scalar @ 192 fuel trims look good car idles good .
A bit baffled and about togo back to OEM intake and TB .

Ok will try but ,
I can have HP scanner attached car not running step on throttle and watch the TPS % it gets to 42% and immediately goes into limp and get 1220 DTC .

Had low battery put charger on ECU ok know .
I tried the Gold blade LS2 TB it seems to work better gets all the way up to 98% Throttle position then get Limp and 1515 Electronic Throttle position .
This is very strange why would Gold TB work better .
Read that not all C5 ECUs are wired all the same ? I have 02Z ?

Can't seem to attach files to PMs. Functionality not there in PMs, only posts. Here is a test you should do. If you still have the stock TB, hook that back up and scan that TB (multiple 0-100% throttle openings). Look at the voltages and throttle angle, then hook up each of the other TBs and do the same test and look at the areas that you get the codes and Reduced power mode. The TAC expects to see a certain throttle angle at a certain voltage. If there is a big enough difference between the stock TB and these other TBs, that is where your error is possibly coming from. There is some adjustment you can make if this is where your errors are coming from. Put your scans up here so we can better help you. Also, have seen posts about the gold blade having a bit of flutter at the blade at WOT. Not sure if that is true or not, but if it does, that flutter will change the blade opening and then the TAC will throw a code. On the gold blade, throttle 100% and have someone check if there is movement.

I tired adjusting TPS high & low fail as suggested by SVTZ06 made no difference .
I cant seem to add the TPS voltage PID to scanner to monitor TPS voltage .
