Standard shocks:: My Pick is Bilstein.. They are about $100 each if you look around.

Default 03 Corvette 50th Ann. model--Good Riding Shocks replacement

The 03 Vette does have the F55 shocks and they do not work.
NO lights on, but only in Sport they work and rough ride.
Want good riding shocks, Medium handling so you don't mind driving the car. Live in Georgia and roads fair but not great. thinking C6 -shocks,
hear they ride and handle good, price good too..
Then get the system re-programmed to remove F55.
Any suggestions?

When the F55 shock were a bit fresher where did you keep the ride selector switch at most of the time? Tour or Sport?

There are two series of Bilstein shocks, as noted above the B6 HD 4600 are not as firm riding than the B8 Performance Plus Sport units. There are also the DRM custom valved Bilstein B8 units - with a bit less compression and a bit more rebound - the whole idea is to maximize the tire-to-road surface contact.

For a smoother yet more controlled ride the Koni 2100 FSD Golds should be considered - they could be the best of both worlds but they will also be the most expensive option notwithstanding the replacement F55 shocks

These least expensive options would be the factory C6 shocks. The C6 base shocks will be softest riding but you will give up too much control or handling when you may want it and maybe best avoided. C6 Z51 shocks would be the best middle of the road offering as far as ride vs. handling, while the C6 Z06 shocks offer better handling but with a firmer ride.
