Id like to add my O2 sensors currently on the car are the originals from back in 2003.
i only have 2 of them since i have the ARH catless longtubes/x pipe.
i was able to fit the stock ones without the extensions. It just fit, so wire is bent over at the sensor connection. Not really hard but could it be a concern?

Not good to have to much “tension” on the wiring...If the O2’s were “stuck” lean or rich it would throw a DTC...or an issue with the heating circuit too...it would be interesting what your sensors are doing...my ‘01 has 55,000 miles and my O2’s are starting to look “lazy”...I’m just to “lazy” to change them...LOL !!
Hold on im not getting this. It should stop while holding it there, or is this some sort of magic cure for leaky valve stem seals lol
No magic !!...as the piston goes down on the intake stroke (vacuum) if the valve seal were bad the vacuum draws the oil from the cylinder head into the combustion chamber past the seals !
Im starting to take off the pass valve cover just to take a look. Also wanna clean the coil ends as I put way too much dielectric grease in them. What should I use to clean? Brake cleaner??
Ya know what ??...pull the PCV off and see if there is a lot of fresh oil inside the hose...the PCV "rattle test" is NOT a good test either !!!...a manometer would be the tool to use to verify...I don't even have one...LOL !!!...you might have excess crankcase pressure causing oil to blow by your valve guides....do that before you start ripping stuff apart !!...I'm thinking to myself...KISS...keep it simple stupid !!
Opened up pass valve cover and cleaned the grease from the coil packs while i was at it.
its hard to see tha valve stem seals with dual valve springs. However, i did see all valve stem seal springs intact. Some looked to have a kink here and there but i remember some looked that way when i pushed them on. Also, no debris inside the valve train area..
Sweet looking cylinder heads! If I read an earlier post correctly, you had some smoke while holding the throttle at a fixed off-idle RPM, then the smoke increased when you released the throttle to idle -- yes? That, to me, sounds entirely like valve stem, either seals or guides. You are going to feel so good when you measure compression or leak down and know for sure your rings are O.K.

Thanks man! And I hope you right. Id be very content if its valve stem seals! If you take a look at post #68 in this thread, I posted a link to a thread that talks about valve stem seals lifting/not sealing Its pretty interesting and Bryan Tooley even chimed in..
Dude !!...NOOOOOOO...not another problem ??...LOL !!...what's the current situation with the smoke ??... did you ever get the PCV hoses figured out ??...I had said the "rattle test" is not the best indicator of PCV valve operation but just remove it and see if it does rattle for the heck of it...I saw you now have your Bluedriver...COOL !!...how do you like it ??...I see the 135 and 155's are current...when did these pop up ??...what I do see is your bank 1 O2 is not switching properly...what is bank 2 sensor millivoltage doing ??...they should be switching a little better from what I see...they should be switching from at least 200-800 mV or so...your numbers ARE indicative of a bad O2 sensor heater circuit for that DTC...you could look for a blown fuse...you only have 2 but all 4 heaters circuits come off 1 fuse... maybe someone can chime in with the fuse location. I'd also check out that wiring since you had mentioned you had quite a bit of "tension" on the wiring...a resistance check of the O2 sensor heater would also work...I can't remember the resistance but maybe 3-10 ohms ??...maybe someone can chime in with the "book number" !!...your short term fuel trims look OK too !!
What are banks? Im not familiar yet with alot of terms. Im a good mechanic, not very good car mechanic lol
A place where you get money from...LOL !!...on a V8 bank 1 is where the #1 cylinder is located... ours its the drivers side 1,3,5,7...bank 2 is passenger side...2,4,6,8.
