As long as you're not tracking the car, your average aftermarket rotor will be fine. It's not until you start heating them up that the cheap and drilled rotors become an issue.

Rotors are kind of like shoes. You have some that look really cool and go good with a night out on the town (Drilled/Slotted). You have some that are good for everyday use (Slotted/Cryogenically treated). And then you have your hard core go to work boots with steel toes (plain cheap Chinese from NAPA/Tire Rack/etc.).

I've got some slotted/cryogenically treated rotors that I put on my Ford Excursion because everytime I went through a puddle of water with hot rotors, they warped. For my 03' Z, I have solid rotors because I track the car as well as drive it on the street.

You can go with a Carbon Fiber setup and impress everybody, but that would set you back enough to by another Corvette.

Good luck.

As said everyday use don't break the bank. As a poster here did I bought the plated drilled and slotted for $150 for all 4 off Amazon. Been on for over a year plus and still shine like new (even driven in snow). No issues with breaking or dust and I use the Autozone lifetime Ceramics.

If your tracking or dragging look for something else more suitable.

Take a look at Baer's oversized-rotor kit. Larger-diameter rotors,two-piece,install as easy as stock rotors. Very noticeable increase in braking power.

I got some of the NAPA premium rotors and they worked excellent! Saved a bunch of cash. If you have a military or retired ID, you get a bunch off. Check NAPA out and see if they have something for you!
