Theft Deterrent Relay... Passengers foot well, Above the BCM ( big silver box behind the toe board) on the fire wall. Has FOUR wires.. Purple, Red, Yellow, Yellow/ Black stripe
Just a follow up..It started flawlessly again for a couple weeks. Got in to drive it to the campground one afternoon; no start again. I had been carrying the TDR relay around for a couple weeks. Got under the footwell and pulled the old one out, replaced it and whola!! fired right up and hasnt had an issue since. The pins on the old relay looked rusted and corroded? Found that somewhat curious, but that was the problem. Thanks for all the replies!!
Great to hear that replacing the TDR corrected your no start problem, your car may have had a water intrusion causing the rust and corrosion, I would examine the socket contacts and maybe plug and unplug the TDR from its socket several times to help clean the contacts.
