My old pushrods are 7.37. Should i get new rods or live with .08 preload?
Preload depends on which Morel you have. I would call Brian Tooley Racing or Straub (supplier for Morels) and discuss the preload needs.

Will i ruin the morels or any other dangers if i go with the rods i have now until i receive the ones i order?
@ 7.343 i will have .056 preload
@ 7.37(what i currently have) the preoload will be at .083.
Could this damage anything if im running on them for a few days?

Based solely on cost and labor I wouldn't risk it for a few days. Not sure where the Morels bottom.

Just got off the phone with straub tech... they said its a .01 difference between the stock ls6 lifters and the 5206's.
So that's why my numbers are close. They said plunger depth is .145 so .08 preload is fine.
Pretty happy I've gotten some closure on this matter.
