C5 Overheating in AZ
STRMLNE: Same question, since you're in the same area. You don't see above 228F. Highway, street, idle?
At 110F ambient, I would not be totally surprised at 240F hot idle, but I'd consider 240F too high if you're doing 75mph in 6th gear.
(Actually, are both of you running 6-speeds? The automatic will likely run hotter due to the trans cooler portion of the radiator, if I understand correctly.)
Additional as to the OP states the Rad and AC HX were replaced, need to understand the condition of the Rad and AC HX foam seals to make sure the cooling air is NOT taking the path of least resistance and going around these heat exchangers,, for clarity check this link and OP, post up your results of your visual inspection.

The OP states the cooling fans are running but we need to understand that as temp rises, do the fans go in to "HIGH SPEED" mode are not stuck in low speed mode and as there are two (2) fans, it will be helpful if the OP can confirm that both fans are operating correctly in LOW speed and HIGH speed mode.

Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction,
Cheers,
