Engine hesitating in third and fourth gear cruising at 1500 rpm

Do you mean misfiring since you said.... "cruising at 1500 RPM" ??...just need some more info !!

engine seems to struggle when cruising. As soon as I depress gas pedal the engine responds. Ease up on the gas and engine hesitates.

When the hesitation happens, look at the IPC and see if the Check Engine Light (CEL) is on or flashing. You should also read and post the DTCs in the same ignition cycle as the issues is happening. Read them using the C5 built in DTC reading routine.

Please post all of your DTCs
