Took off the AA air filter put on the bigger afe new filter in its place maybe this will help . The new filter is quite bigger so let’s see what this brings ....I bet it makes more power The filter overall is 5 inches longer 2 inches taller and 3 Inches wider sooo...start test lol ...
Just barely tapping the throttle lol this is insane ....hahaha ....
Test run prevails Temps are 105 outside high 1 pm sun ....normally by now she would be running 225-230...this little fix got it down to a 185 ish without the a/c on blast and a mere 210-215 on blast ...banging gears ....still a down pipe off the aa plenum will be handy for a cooler draw ...thinking that’s where I’ll put the spray way down below into the air filter 1st hand to prevent any moisture build up....

Why on earth to these *** cars see a Vette and get all excited...so a guy in a GTR see’s the op monster rolling along minding its own business the GTR just needs to spool up his little *** turbo just enough to say look at me I got a turbo in my GTR I mean the shhhh sound was barley noticed lol ...So I rolled up to the light gave her a little blip and wooooooshhhhh...that’s a real turbo buddy as I had the window down and the car ahead of him is smiling ear to ear nodding his head as the speakers bump bump bump lol ...I tell ya *** cars trying to compete with American muscle just ain’t happening not on my watch ....

U have to remember who is racing anything goes, win is a win. Even with his lawn mower racers. That's why he has all them trophies. When u go on the wrong day of the event trophies start adding up, but his pocket gets pretty light buying all them trophies for himself.
I own an R32 GTR with roughly 750awhp that weighs in under 3,000 lbs with me in it. Since there is only 1 GTR forum worth following in the states I get to see all the R35 guys and their builds too, those things make 650-670awhp with just bolt ons and E85. At that power level they will pull sub3.0 second 0-60 and 10 second 1/4s easily. Start adding built internals, transmissions and larger turbos and these cars are not to reckon with. They are ridiculously consistent and launch harder and faster than anything I've ever seen before. A number of these R35 GTRs are running in the 6s and 7s but if you look at our C5 quick list you can see there aren't many C5 guys even competing with these cars.
yeah I'm well aware, you won't see many vettes running with the high hp gtr's... the last gen viper is the only american car I've seen that can put a hurting on the new gtr's in a roll race, but maybe speedy is the exception... badass you have an r32, those and the r33 are my fav, I really don't like the r35 at all
I noticed they were selling in the $20-25k range last year when I was fed up with my Subaru blowing motors left and right so I found and scooped mine with a completely forged motor, ported head and everything else stock. Since then the entire car has been rebuilt, replaced and modified to be an absolute street/track monster.
It’s not a race when then there’s no competition...most of them are dust by 2nd....it’s just to funny at times everything from foreign to new c7’s just ain’t gaining a inch ....rather dig their own embarrassment....Sure some of those GTR’s are built and light **** mine weighs about 2800-2700 with me in it lol 0-60 2.6 ,2.7 lol ya I can do 0-100 in under 4...like I tried to say they can spend 100k plus to go slow I won’t....get it done at a fraction of that....and if I spent 100k on a car well I wouldn’t let 20 years cars wipe its *** with a new one ....

The air filter clip explains it all just listen ...You heat wing.....not vroommm like a grunting torque built car mines well smoothed ...I had my car tuned by some real gear heads the bad *** f-1 guys lol who actually took them selves off this site because they are the best hahaha as in #1 ....many have tried and yet to succeed ....
1st off even stock the c5 laid 0-60 in 4 sec flat beefing that up to a 100 was actually pretty easy and she doesn’t slip tire much .....bet I could get up to 120 ish....in 4 secs with some of the e/t street tires ....lay a 0-60 in 2.3 maybe 2

Here we go again with the laws of physics...& the museum...let me tell ya they would have to pay me a mint to get my car there ....I would take a 2 with 6 zero’s attached if they ever felt this cars accomplished something they never could .... thats a fair exchange and a gamble for them cause what if I am just talking out my *** but what if I’m not makes ya think huh...Does he really have the logs ? I got all the equipment.....might just be the type to log everything every drive every time just to make sure it’s running correctly....Who else could take a stock block a little 346 ci amd make the haters hate on it make um think he’s running a big 427 or something ....lol ...Real truth I have no idea what block or cranks or pistons are in the car ...that being said I would assume it’s all stock like the rest of given the vara air ram was the only aftermarket part on the car that was noticed , pistons looked like stock flat tops to me ....don’t know block number never looked as long it it runs the way I desire it to all that matters That means when u put your foot down just a little 1/4 tilt u go if I wanna really go lay 1/2 tilt ,3/4 and full tilt haven’t got the room to let it free 240 I bet she’s got 250-260 in her ....overall dead sprint to it might pick up 280 as it levels on out for a few miles .......but I’ll prob never get enough space legally anyways to try it ....

how did you get the car down to 2700-2800lbs with you in it?
3200 curb weight stock ....must we contine from there shedding 400 wasn’t to hard ....wheels alone got me about a hundo. Plastics , screws, bolts toms of misc stuff the car doesn’t need ,,,reduced intake weight, plenum weight .....most of everything I put on is lighter then stock parts the only weight adder it has is the supercharger .....
When on race day she sheds the hood,targa & of need to be the trunk and fenders would come off which I am already saving to convert the body well most of it to carbon fiber...
