Another failed attempt at installing the 103 . So I’ve finally figured out what is happening. The fast 3 bolt 102 adapter plate is notched out at the bottom to clear the water pump housing . So I must get a similar adapter only to be later bored out . Which I’ve found . Apparently the hump was invisible to my eyes oh well 20 mins gone . 30 plate goes back in the mail . The correct one I need coming .

Wait you legitimately think you're running 900+ hp's? And that those Sumitomos are remotely capable of handling even less than half of that? I can't not believe you're trolling...

Got a chirping noise only when accelerating. In neutral cars doesn’t make a sound only in gear like a wet belt sound . How long does power steering fluid usually take to wear off a belt if it got a little wet ?

I went thru a bunch of belt BS on my car... chirping is usually an alignment issue and a loud continuous squeal is usually its slipping for whatever reason. I would think PS fluid would make it squeal if it was causing some slippage.

So even if you rev it up pretty good in neutral no noises? a useful tool for belt troubleshooting is a water bottle too. spray the belt, if it makes the chirping go away almost certainly an alignment issue, if the water makes it squeal then slipping issue.

Can you try to get a video and capture it? Will make internet troubleshooting a lot easier

Revs all day with no sounds it a very slight chirping sound. I can’t pin point where it’s coming from . Got some belt dressing still chirps like a bird just very faint . It’s enough to hear it though and annoy the driver . Seems as if it’s out of the driver side where I had some fluid dripping when working on it . I know the a/c belt is old as well but I don’t see that being the issue just yet. Belt tension does seem off after conditioning I’ll tighten once the car is cooled . And re check the idlers .

The belt actually made a louder squeak and slipped a little once conditioned for a a second or two and went away . Noticed the belt looks maybe a little bouncy not enough tension possibly I hope so .

Ill do that stuff 1st of the problem still persist I’ll get a video while idling with no noise until ya go .u might have to listen carefully.

yeah water spray bottle... spray inside of belt and the chirp should go away for a few seconds, then return. That is almost certainly an alignment issue of some sort and exactly what I had. the water acts as a lube for a few seconds until it evaporates away.

Can’t use a spray bottle while driving that’s the only time the noise is present . Noise stops if you hold whatever speed or rpm your at . Accelerate 1mph or more noise is back . Just can’t seem to replicate at idle at all . All that’s left is to tighten or replace the belt I guess if that don’t work . How long do these belts even last is a good question ?

Brought the car over to the guys to get appointment in to have the throttle body put after all it will need some grinding at the adapter or possibly we’ll punch the fast 3 bolt out and make that work .

The guy pointed out the belt was loose so I figure i can tighten that down and make their job less painful this Thursday for the throttle body install. Depending on the tune price I may have some adjustments done after.

Why are you having so much trouble with this throttle body? I had an interface issues with my throttle body and supercharger bracket so I had to mount the TB upside down. I think that’s very common for people with ls2/3 throttle body’s in c5.

I have not seen a pic yet of what your talking about exactly but the three bolt adapter your talking about sounds like your trying to get it to fit to an old intake. Just get a better intake if that’s the case and ditch the adapters.
