Breaking car down to get at the clutch again….buying mcload or a tilton haven’t decided quite yet … got the exhaust out , shocks unbolted , pulled the valley cover and all those bolts , next removing the two brakes lines near the exhaust on the driver side , disconnect the trans sensors and all that , make sure the harness is completely disconnect. Get at those 5 torque tube bolts go grab a decent trans jack to lower the cradle and disconnect the shifter inside something I should have did before raising it .. oh and the upper sway bar links bolts need to come out not much left just not trying to rush it total I got maybe a hour or so into dropping it , and 3 hours with of stitches last night …shoulda had my gloves on lesson learned

And the saga continues. Hope u get it. But if u want it done right fly me over and watch with envy how precision i am fixing it the right way. But the only thing i always end up with bolts and washers, but i wont tell u about that, so u can sleep at night.

I always know when someone’s bluff is called it’s always the same yada ..anyways I got the mufflers pulled today, un hooked a few more sensors gotta tackle those two brakes lines pull a arms bolts , 5 torque tube bolts , a starter wire bolt and 4 cradle bolts and it’s out , then order parts and reappear ge process , Literally one handed handed as my dominant hand is pretty much useless… total time now actually working on the the is about 1hr 20 minutes …

Buying a new short side impact just cause I don’t feel like wrench on anything I don’t have to ….the extreme impacts have been good to me so far waiting on a friend to help but honestly that helps just rolling my joints and playing good music

This was prob before they put screws on the back to dismantle the part from what I watched …Was the 1st clutch contraption I saw like that so that’s why I got it it’s a bit pricey at 450 bucks plus states taxes equals …

Thought I would inspect it to make sure it wasn’t the line … look at that split middle right .. Luckily the manufacturer is getting a refund back… should have just gone with the McLeod from the start …

So after grabbing a oem and that busted bleeding it omg ..so I re took some measurement and then measured the stock slave without the spring adjusted to that exact height threw it on seems all is well now with the McLeod …almost all back together clutch feel a bit more stiff then stock so will prob take a little bit getting used to that action .

And ***** I most likely adjusted it to short and then to far out so sending the car into a actual really great performance shop to have the work done done …Clutch adjustment just ain’t my thing ….seeing these guys work on actual nascar and such maybe there’s a good chance of getting some nascar ports on the heads and some other stuff done maybe a longer 1st gear will see ….she’s coming out a bigger monster then before ….

Hopefully the car will be ready and back today ..

Got the car and I spoke to soon fired it up this morning to get a good decent test in on the way to work …in 3rd at 40 ish tried getting it up to 60 clutch didn’t grab fully ..obviously because they measured 2.25 inches and then set the cylinder at the same depth without which is shouod have been 2.125 inches with proper gap at the slave cylinder…so it’s still riding to close now messing my clutch just **** poor …maybe the next guys get it right hopefully.

Car is back in the shop with a slipping clutch today these guys 100% would never let a car come out and say it’s right without being right …guess it’s taking nascar professionals to get a clutch working right …
