Tick remote clutch bleeder question

I have one I had installed with a clutch YEARS ago. Probably 2011. My question is, were they always one man speed bleeders or were the older ones like mine a different version with no check valve? Someone tell me before I crew up my clutch.

All the ones that I have ever used is just like a brake caliper bleeder. Crack it open allow it to flow and shut it. Rinse and repeat until it clear and or no more air. Keep the master cylinder full.

So, you haven't even seen one with the speed bleeder?

No but, I imagine you can purchase a speed bleeder and use it.

Mine has the check valve. Its brand new and when I blew through it, it only went one way

Earlier this year I bought "new old stock" Tick remote bleeder (and Tick MC). I think they were at least 3 years old. The Tick remote bleeder had a speed bleeder valve.
