I had an ECS Stage 1 but it had FP spikes and dips at boost - it was driving Ron Crazy. I (the Genius) decided to put a check valve in a dumb place and it pushed UN-Regulated FP - (+130 PSI) to the rail - blowing out injector O-Rings. I Had all the parts so I plumbed it just like UPP's system. It made sense to ME - But I really should have dropped the tanks and did it right - TRUE return system. This will have to do for now. Look up their C5-6 system. It makes sense to me but I'm not a Tuner. I tested it the other day and it works. Unlike UPP, I (just did it today) set my Hobbs to come on at 2 PSI and set the regulator to 57# instead of the OEM 59#. We'll see how that shakes out soon.

I don't know how this Damn Multi Quote works so...

Everybody calls Everything a 'Motor'. We have 'Engines'. M O T O R S are electric. So when someone says 'Motor Mount' I start with my Rant about E N G I N G E mounts. I'm just a Weird-O. Forgive me. I'm too old to change at this point.
Glad y'all like the car - I just need it to run reliably and not stumble when it gets into Boost. It has a NASTY 'Burble / Stumble' Right as the pressure builds and it starts to want to have fun.

Sorry - The Coils are LS3 on Holley Coil -on -Covers. There was no way to mount LS6 coils right on ANY cover - and that is UGLY. So I spent more money just to have that cleaner look.

I was going to use my ECS fuel ring and A1000 fuel pump then I decided to use a single Hellcat 535 pump and ext regulator and filter.

You must have an Early C5? My '03.5 has the Wonderful C6 Fuel System. Had I known about the difference when 'Vette Shopping I would have NEVER bougt the Late '03 car. It just plain SUCKS! Impossible to work on - easily - and WAY over engineered.

I've heard nothing but good things about that pump / system. It seems to be able to handle all kinds of power and very reliable. Dropping the tanks is not for pussies though - especially the Late '03+

This got away from SlickTop and the OP -
These cars are truly 10# of Poo in a 5# Poo Bag. If you go through the trouble of exposing that front cover I'd say do WHATEVER you can (afford, have skill for, think of) while in there. It ain't no fun getting there and you don't want to do it twice if you don't have to. I used the PowerBond HB without the KeyWay. It gets good reviews and is better then OEM. I saw that key slot as a leak point and skipped it.
Don't ever say you won't continue modding once the bug bites you. 'I Don't plan on supercharging...' HA!!

Agree, really stole his thread, but I am sure he is into the good old HB R&R hell by now. I replaced everything I could replace when I did my HB! Talk about scope creep..had parts showing up everyday for for 1.5 weeks!

Ive had parts coming for two years, and there’s always something being added! Just picked up some 243 heads that need refurb, so the HB/cam-everything-above-behind-and-forward of that project gets pushed back to post nuclear fall weather.

I really mean it this time! 😂😂😂
