Id guess around 175. Not sure what rpm the ls1 is doing at that speed, so yes it depends on rear gear.
get ready to laugh... One time when i had the car on jackstands... i tied it down, and since the wheels were off i tightened the nuts on the rotor so they would be stable. Hit 224 mph in 6th gear before i let off because of vibration.... car sounded awesome. Neighbors did call the cops though, wasnt the greatest idea at 3am.
With an A4 and 3.15 gears and my hp with my goodies, I'd like to try it out just to see what I could get to without letting off. So far--160s is as high as I can attest to--not much time to look down at these speeds and I have HUD! Can you imagine what the cops would've said if those jackstands would've slipped? It would have looked like you tried to trim the concrete on you garage and driveway!! Like craziest police chase videos or something!!

was interesting though. when i stomped on the brakes at that mph the brakes brought them to a stop in about 1 second. they did smoke a bit. I did hit 179 on a local highway at 3am, on video tape. When i stomped on the brakes i got showers of sparks from the front wheels after a few seconds... looked cool. Fried the stock pads, 1 almost melted, warped and stress cracked both front rotors too. Threw it all in the garbage the next day and upgraded.. now i got no issues. :yesnod:
As far as i know a MN6 C5 should do 185-190 mph....and an auto C5 should do 170-180 mph....Keep in mind that every C5 would act differently some will go faster others slower...depends on how many miles they got and how much abuse they took.....Hope that i have helped... :reddevil
