Make sure that you fully understand how to install/position/shim the slave cylinder. Make sure that you label which lambda sensor lead is which.
the shim part is my worst fear and will seek forum advice when I arrive there.
I am up for the challenge. I’m going on vacation first before starting project. I have new luk clutch kit . New rear main seal. New tick slave with bleeder and shims . I will rebuild torque tube and rear diff seals . I got a tranny jack for 100 at harbor frieght . I also have a 3 ton and 2 ton jack and 4 jack stands . As I work at lot I’ll have extra time for correct advice from y’all and more time to buy parts . Will start new thread when I start . My fear is alignment of new clutch and slave
I just set mine on jack stands to do this job one more time to fix the rear main seal leak. I'll write up all the details like jackstand heights, etc. If you got the 800lb HF jack with the two-axis adjustable platform you're all set.
Verifying the slave cylinder shim stack was probably the easiest step in the process, so have no fear there.
I wouldn't necessarily create a new thread but use your own judgement. It's a sucky job, but I've done worse. Hopefully you won't run into any major roadblocks.
Just closing out the loop on this. I purchased all the parts and had Elite Performance & repair in Huntington, NY (Long Island) do the work . Awesome owner Ozzie super knowledgeable, super reasonable and he changed clutch, rebuilt torque tube and replaced axle seals. I will bring my corvette to him all day long and highly recommend his services.

OOC, can you DM me what was charged? Not judging and not upping or downing any other vendor, just curious what he charged since I have some other friend on LI too and local is always more convenient.
I went with stock LUK 04173 as car is stock , did everything while I was in there as well. With some rusted bolts on the exhaust that needed to be torched out, and the fact that I got my car back quickly and was able to drive it and enjoy it this weekend, I may have finally made the right choice.
You made the right choice in my opinion.Job done correctly AND you found a shop that you trust. I did the same here in Florida especially since I couldnt do that type of job. Been one year this month w/o a hitch. Enjoy!
