Re: C5 Owners With an Automatic (Darrell G)
Ran stock with the 2.73's for almost 4-years before installing the 3.42s,
SY3500, TransGo, and PLII.
From stock to that, it's pretty much not even the same car.

I will probably stick with the 3.15s since my drag racing days are pretty much behind me. Although there is a deep temptation to blow off punks at the stop light. I guess i still have some kid in me.
The other day some kid in a Camero Z28 was screwing with me. It sounded good, but i didn't want to get arrested on the main drag. It made me wonder if he would have blown my doors off. Any thoughts?
Just put a torque converter in and get some traction, no need to worry about most other cars at a stoplight then :D

3:73's now upgrading to the M12 transmission soon. I like the 3:73s Do not really care about top end and I do a lot of city driving. Love them. Must shift you hit rev limiter 6500 before you know it.

6speeds are a lot different. you have 6 gears to take you all the way. we are talking about A4's which run out of breath top end

Re: C5 Owners With an Automatic (Romeo)
I started with 2.73's....What a waste of time!! :nonod: Then I went with 3.42's/PT2800..very nice change..well worth the $$ for those with lower gear ratios and stock T/C....Now I'm going with the 3.73's / SS3800 T/C for my new 382 stroker with a nasty cam...Should be the best combo yet... :chevy

Upgraded to 3:42's a few weeks ago. Great mod and well worth the money.

3.15 straight from the factory. I do believe 3.73's are in my future though. Anyone care to comment on the driveability of those or the 4.10's.
