Default GP: Valaya Racing Debris Guards

Valaya Racing is offering a Group Purchase on our Debris Guards (patented, stainless steel, Made in the USA). These Debris Guards fit all 1997-2003 Corvette C5's and Z06's. They are a simple bolt-on modification. No cutting, welding, fabrication, etc.

The Debris Guard fits on the bottom of the car in the open space where the air dam opens up into the radiator. It will block rocks, bags, etc from getting onto your radiator and causing damage and/or increased underhood temperatures. It will also help those of you running a bottom breather intake system by keeping the filter cleaner, longer.

The prices are as follows:

10 orders: $119
20 orders: $109
30 or more: $99 + free shipping

I had Ted put this on my C5 and it works great. Keeps all the major debris out of the radiator. If you live in/near the Bay Area and ever need an excellent mechanic Ted is the guy. Excellent professional work and helped me get all my cars in order at last minutes notice for a deployment.

How about drilling? If this mounts using existing holes, I could get really interested....

Excellent form, fit and function. Ted put one on for me in February before getting mobilized to Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.
I drove from CA to MO with no worries of road trash getting sucked up. Take care, everyone.

PS...there was no drilling needed and it took like 15 minutes to install

First off, welcome to the forum!

Secondly, could we please see a picture of a C5's underside/underhood with this unit installed? I'd really want to see what I'm actually buying into before I plock down the money.

Thanks!

Hey guys -

Ted installed one of these on my car after I caught a plastic bag over the radiator, and my normal temps of 178 went up to 220 on the highway! Now that I have the Debris Guard installed, I've had no problems.

Here are some pics from his website with the screens installed:

You can see more pictures at http://www.valayaracing.com

This mounts using the existing mounting points on your front bumper (see picture below). It's a very solid piece of stainless steel that will stop just about anything you throw at it. My car sees a fair amount of time on the track and inevitably time off the track. This is a great piece of insurance for your radiator.

I could not believe how much stuff was sucked up into my radiator until Ted put this product on my car last year. It works great and I highly recommend this to all C5 owners. GM should have made this product stock on all Corvettes.

Valaya,

After looking at your website, I have one question. Does the Corvette actually have $40 more worth of material/fabrication than the Fbody or is it just that it says Corvette on it somewhere?

At $99 including shipping I'd be in.

I have one. Great for street driving and track (or off-track) driving. The amount of crap trapped up inside the front of my radiator was disturbing.

Looks like a piece of gutter screen could do the same thing... cost 3 dollars..
