I'd be interested in some detail on the coil mounting setup and what (if anything) he's done for a PCV system. I've considered the C5R valve covers for my Cartek 427, but the ancillary issues related to coils, etc. turned me off.
Not off the top of my head, Katech built quite a bit of this custom, not sure if it a regular production piece or not. I will try to dig up some more details.

Most people who go with the C5R valve covers relocate the coil packs. On two of our cars we have even used Halltech's Coil Up Relocation kit. This Kateh C5R engine had the C5R coil packs. The C5R covers have mounting provisions directly for the coil packs. I can try to get some more details pics of it.
I'd appreciate as much info as you can dig up on the Katech coil mounts, fuel rails, etc. I've had several conversations with those guys, including one in person at the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta last October. They definitely gave me the impression that they were not interested in dealing with people who didn't have the backing of a factory race budget.
That intake look sincredibly similar to the LS2 intake from the C6 spy shots I have seen. The runners look identical. The goose neck looks to be modified to handle the current TB.
Only news on availability and pricing for the manifold?
This is the biggest opp for improvement on my 422.

This was a custom sheet metal job by Katech as the heads are C5R. From what I understand it's like pulling teeth to get Katech to do custom work like this, and I believe this customer has 50k in just the engine. If it has any connections to the C6 intake, I could not publicly say.
I can't remember where I saw it but I think it was out in the open parking lot on the North side of the coliseum, they had a couple of race engines and one was the Katech 427 with 8 stacks and the other had that intake, I remmber thinking it must have been a custom made intake because of the way the runners had been smoothed out and that great red metallic paint.

For those that were curious it put out 529RWHP and 498RWTQ yesterday. We still have some more tweaking to do and hopefully will have the opporutnity to install our headers.
