Differential Leak
I have 4500 miles on my 2002 C5. The other day, after a 30 mile drive in 104 degree temperature at average 85 mph, I notice a drop of clear oil on the garage floor below the rear end more towards the drivers side of center. I could find small traces of the oil on some of the suspension but no visible leaking. It does not leak when parked and I can't find where it may have come from except from the outlet valve on the top of the differential.
Is it possible that oil would come from the differential outlet valve on a hot day? :crazy:

Sounds like it came from the vent due to temperature. I would verify the level when room temp and level, clean up the area and keep an eye on it.
