Believe it finally, Doubters! This is possible! Paul confirmed it for you.
Now we don't have to rip down John Shiel's Vette Doctor 450rwhp H/C car
:withstupid: Now when a reputable tuner(Cartek, Vette Drs, LG, etc) says that it's possible to go 10s or get 450+ RWHP on a stock bottom end, we won't have the tuners that can't get there whining that it's not possible  Looks like the originator of this thread has long since disappeared....hopefully he is using the extra time to educate himself on engine building :lolg:

Impressive Run and et especially in the 1/8th. As I stated I beleive
trap speeds 122.88 and at that weight would indicate about 450 RWHP!
My post was to inform how easy it is to jazz up the numbers on a Dynojet,
and buyer beware! The post was not directed at any tuner! Cartek has proven their point and I am impressed! Any others besides Cartek
getting that MPH at that weight??
I would like to chime in and add that I think something was wrong with the equpiment last night at etown. There were 3 cartek h/c cars there and none were making mph at the top end like we normally do. On one of my runs it told me that my 1/8 mph was 63.99  I made 3 horrilbe passes last night(I had some sort of problem each time) and didnt pull more than 124.64. I find it odd that the air was a little better than last week when I pulled over 126 but my mph is down in every run.

122.88 mph with problems going into fourth, his trans is in bad shape. In the past with a good trans and on a similar weather night he would run 124-125 mph.

Re: Crazy Dyno Numbers (Gooseman)
Goosman,
We have a customer car that did 10.93 @ 125.2 with a race weight of 3175. with a G5X-2 cam only package, (cam, headers, pulley, and all the bolt on's), up in Chicago.
We have another car ( G5X-2 cam and head car) that does 10.8 @ 123 right here in Texas at 3425 race weight, Stock bottom on an A4.
And one more Cam only/bolt on car at 11.3/123
I am not a drag racer myself, but we should have a few customer cars at the Southern Shootout on November 8th in Louisiana. Hot, bad air, and plenty of hot rodders.
Congratulations to the Cartek guys for pulling the engine down.
