A sure sign of desparation. Nick "Kook's Headers"
I wouldn't call it desperation, necessarily. I'd call it more arrogance. The reality is that he (LG) is still selling headers, but just isn't selling them at the rate he use to before a Kooks option was available. The one thing I've learned from being in sales/business is that you can't expect to "have it all." Lou hasn't learned this lesson yet, IMO. :)

hit the nail on the head... the guy's selling these headers know the sales numbers quite well, and you better believe they want to sway each one of us potential buyers to their product. When you're on top, you hate to lose even one sale to a new guy on the block.. so you become a true salesman at whatever cost.. This is partly why I purchased the header package that I did.. and is why three more sales of these headers were recently sold in my local area - solely because of my recommendation. Because I like the way Kook's does business. Great product at a good price.. and I'll continue to pimp the hell out of kook's around here as long as I keep seeing this same sort of attack marketing crap posted on each of these header war posts..

[QUOTE]Again, let me say again, I will loan a set of LG PRo Long Tube headers with cats, out to an independent shop that will do a back to back test against the kooks or dynatech headers. I want to have final approval of the shop and of the car that is being tested. Let me know.end of story.
Thanks[QUOTE]

So I guess I'm NOT going to be getting a set to be compared to my TPIS/Random system.....

Any reason WHY you don't want to go up against TPIS w/ Random pipes & high flow cats?

I will PURCHASE the set if they make gains, & I will post the results!

Willing to send me a set? Or don't you want to go up against TPIS?

Dyno & install shop will be JD's Performance in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
Joe Dudekitewcz owner. Install by Joe or Dale Cherry.

Dyno operator/tuner is Brian Herter of http://www.pcmforless.com

How about it... LG's vs TPIS

Let me know,
Ellis

:iagree: :yesnod: Now LG has stooped so low that he's taking dyno sheets off other tuners websites and trying to overlay his graph and and make comparisons between two different cars that were dynoed in two different states .  :nopity It's got to be the same car , same dyno , same day , for an accurate comparison , this guy is grasping at straws now .

Ellis , The TPIS headers are no joke , they work , they are worthy of being involved in this comparison as there's probably more C5's running around with these headers originally (before all the other header choices) .

I just saw that post, and I was very tempted to scorch him on this. But, alas, it would fall on deaf ears, I'm afraid. I think anyone with a lick of sense will be able to see thru this "sales" ploy and dimiss it for what it is: and apple to an orange, plain and simple.
