best ported head? give me your opinion

who makes the best performing head?

I'm happy with my TEAs. They have some new LS6 port designs out too.

Define "best". Best for peak HP, peak TQ, or area under the curve? Best w/ a stock cam, or w/ an aftermarket cam? If aftermarket, what lift & duration? Best for a stock displacement engine, or a stroker? Best for the money? Best for the street, or for the strip?

IMHO, I think the best heads are the ones I bought to fit my needs --- Absolute Speed Stage 1.x. I paid less than $1K, and got killer #'s w/ a very mild combo.

I know other guys that swear by TEA, GTP, MTI, etc.

Different strokes for different folks......
