I'd check out the LGM header system too.

I was told that with LG long tubes that you had to use O2 Sims in the post Cat O2 sensors. Is this is mainly because with LT headers that the O2 sensors are too far back for the existing harness to hook up all four sensors? How does the SW headers overcome this? Is it possible to change the length of the wires without affecting the voltage reading from the sensors?

I don't believe the LG's even have the bung to install the O2 sensor so you need to account for the cost of the SIMs in your budget. The SW have the bungs installed. Also, the LG's have longer tubes so the collector is farther back in the system, SW tubes are shorter so the collector is closer to the motor allowing the front O2 installation. The LG's use adapters/extensions for the new O2 sensor location.

What about the G2 Pro Long Tube headers?
Are they easy to install?
What about the o2 sensor with this one?

Think I'm gonna choose the LG's or the Dynatech supermaxx

Was this a car specific problem for you or do all Kooks hand lower than the SW or LGM.

Also how are the O2 sensors delt with on the Kooks.

So are there any LT headers that allow hooking up all four O2 sensors without having to use anything outside the kit? Here in Utah, tampering with any of the emissions equipment is against the law. Therefore, if I don't have all four sensors hooked up and working, they can say that my car doesn't pass. Also I'm told I need an EO number to be sure that the headers/cats are 50 state legal. Can anybody shed any light on this?

Default Yes some header kits have all four O2s.

The Dynatech system I have has all four O2s. This only works if you have cats I believe because the rear O2s are checking for cat functionality (someone correct me if wrong ). So I believe the rear O2s expect different readings than the fronts. Anyhow... YES some systems have all 4 O2s! That being said... the Dynatech system is NOT CARB certified so if you need that for your state you are still out of luck.

LG's only use two O2 sensors.

Kooks, Stainless Works and QTP use four as do others.

If you need all four, then the LG's are out. Check out the three above. Kooks are harder to install and have an aluminized steel center section. Stainless Works are all stainless and are easier to install. QTP are also all stainless, very easy to install but are priced a few hundred higher although there is a special deal on them right now from QTP.

Looks like it would have to be SW or QTP for me. Do you know which of these are the easiest to install and can they both be done without any cutting or welding? What about HP and torque, are they comparable to Kooks and LG? Thanks for all your help?

Got a B&B Route 66, a Thunderracing 224./224. 561./561. 114 LSA Cam
and a Vararam.

Dont know if I should take the FLP, Dynatech or LG System.

What do you think which system would give me the most power?
I have Stainless Works Long Tubes and am very satisfied with them - No clearance problems - great HP and TQ improvement and great customer service from Stainless Works.

Install was very easy. No cutting or welding. We gain 31 hp and 34tq with no tuning. This is with a cat x pipe. A complete stainless system.

Here is a our post on the dyno numbers. Give us a call if you have any questions.
