Default 2000 Corvette problems...

Hi!

Yesturday I noticed a strange sound in my vette. In first gear and moderate throttle usage, I hear a "rambeling" noise wich I think is comming from the rear of the car. It occures at aboute 3-4mph and lasts until 12-14mph. Then it seams to dissapare. Is sounds like stones in a box or something. Is this normal? If so what is it?
I don't know if it's my imagination, but I also think it is more pronaunced when turning tightly, like in a parkin lot.

Also my airbag light sometimes stays on for 1-2 min after starting. What could be the problem?

Can anybody help me here?

Thanks in advance!

Your gear noise is 100% completely normal. It's due to the cut of the gears in the trans. I too was concerned when I first purchased my car, but the owner's video specifically addresses this. Unless you are familiar with the above; then it's possible you clutch packs are "skipping", and could indicate the need to change the fluid / diff. additives. But the key is if you are hearing the noise in a straight line, it's most likely the gear design.

I have no idea about you air bag light.

Default 2000 Corvette steering locks up. Bypass?

Hello! New to forum and have problem with my steering column locking up. I understand that there is a bypass. Suggestions?

In addition, I need original weather strip for passenger window. Replacement allows leak from top of window. Strip has now lip. Suggestions?

Also, how the heck do you just post instead of reply?
