read my posting about engine and driveline vibration experience. It may shed some light on your vibration problem.

Two days ago, I purchased a set of the couplers and the price was $495 + shipping.

Great information on the CF Drive shaft

Question: No one has mentioned this, so I am Does the CF Drive Shaft offer any reduction in weight over the stock aluminum driveshaft? I have a 97 C5.

Thanks
Michael

We run one in Tommy's car. The weight reduction is there, but the stock Al shaft isn't really all that heavy to begin with. We haven't seen any vibration issues.

So far its handled everything we could throw at it...

I would have purchased that CF driveshaft it I would have thought it necessary for my car. I have seen others beat the hell out of the OE shaft and not have any problems. When I owned several F-body's the best upgrade available was the 3" LPE aluminum driveshaft. I used one of those for years and I wasnt able to destroy it.
