Do you consider adding any Emblem to a Corvette as an extra Status symbol or a Mod? By the way it's just a poll and not meant to offend anyone!!!!!
If I assume that I read your question correctly, you didn't ask for responses of who likes or dislikes emblems. Nevertheless, IMHO an emblem does not constitute a mod. Now, someone might think of an emblem as a status symbol, however, some might add an emblem just because they think it would look nice, and not something to brag about.
Anyways, since everyone else expressed their opinion, I will, too. It depends on the emblem, but I do like some of them, particularly the Z51 emblem.
A lot of NO's out there. But how many of the NO's have other purely cosmetic or vanity mods? Some have pics of red calipers on their avatar; others have cat backs, which we know adds sound but little if any performance. Why the double standard? If someone likes emblems, someone else likes calipers, and someone else likes loud exhausts, what's the difference?
Anyway, I really like the look of the Stingray emblems I have seen on a few cars latley... I think its great, why should we wait for GM to "re-create" the Stingray when we can...
BTW, can anyone give me some insight as to where you are getting these?
Thanks!

The Stingray script emblem used on the 1969-1977 cars is still available at any GM parts counter. Price aboyt $35.00 each. Look up "Tommy V" thread "Different Stingray Emblem", I put the part number on it.
I have always been a big fan of the Z51 badge and i wanted one so bad, but i wanted it to be an option from the factory and GM does not want to budge.
So being the person that i am, i just have to have my BADGE, So i put a deposit on the 07 Z06, im going to get my Badge oneway or the other GM even if i have to spend 65K to get it.
