the ZR1 emblem sure put a smile on my face. with that said it used to **** me off when I saw a corvette with a ZR1 emblem and it wasn't one. i thought it was pretty tacky when people put non ZO6 emblems on non ZO6 cars. how do you react when you see a C3 with a L88 emblem and look under the hood and find a small block? emblems are supposed to mean something aren't they? i guess i like emblems when they mean something and don't think much of them when they don't.

When one puts a fraudulent emblem on a car, an emblem that misrepresents what the car actually has, well that is a different matter.However an emblem which says "Z51" on a Z51 equipped C6, is not a misrepresentation.

How is putting a "non Z06 emblem on a non Z06" car tacky to you? Or did you you mean a Z06 emblem on a non Z06 car?

I personally would not put one on,as to me it's kinda like the guy putting decals of every part on his car in the window (i.e. Moon,Edelbrock,Holley,Hooker,etc.,etc.). Now days to be considered very tacky.Then again everyone complained when G.M. put the little emblem behind the door ,yet the same person will stick Z51 or what ever emblem any place their little heat desires.Each to their own as they are paying for that right but "It Just Ain't Right!!!"

for me it depends on where it is put.... for example there is an emblem on my Lloyds mats... that doesnt bother me....

I looked at you photos and compliments on your C6 !!!
If your state allowed you to put "moon eyes" on your rear window instead of having to install that big bill board looking license plate on your snout would you do it???
Front license plate is a horrible but mandated "emblem" that will never look correct on a C6

I don't consider it a status symbol or a mod, but if you pay $50,000+ and you want to put an emblem on it, that is your business. As you can see from my avatar I have an emblem and I like it. I have had numerous C6 owners wanting to know where they could get them. Guess what? you can't, so that makes mine only one of a few that are out there.
