Default Performance Satisfaction Poll

Are C6 owners were satisfied with their cars “STOCK” performance?
For me I'd like to see another 30 to 50 hp which I'll probably do with some mods........

Completely satisfied. I am not into drag racing and think that street racers should be thrown in jail for life before they take someone elses with their stupidity. I'm no prude. I will get on the car and enjoy the sports car that I bought but only under safe conditions. I prefer autocross and HPDE type events and I feel that the car all ready has much more to offer than my ability to drive at this point. I've never understood the need to insanely mod a car just so you can have the biggest xxxx. Bottom line, someone will always have more money, and will always be faster. Accept it, live with it and move on.

Yup. I did not buy the car to race it, but to drive a car with great handling and well above average power and appearance.

I am really enjoyed my car! I wish it had another 100 horsepower just for the hell of it, but I really don't 'need' it.
For me, it is already like a retarded kid playing with a handgrenade!!

Quite satisfied so far. I would like to take it a strip sometime just to see what it could do. I know it is faster then the 442's we used to run.

Yes I’m quite satisfied with power and handling. (05 Vert 6spdM) The car is very quick and with Z51 it handles real well in the mountain roads I drive on a lot. This is a totally stock car and will stay with just about anything on the road.

In the 60s, I had a modified 67 Dodge RT 440 that would run constant 12.50s at the drag strips. It was quick, even appeared to run quicker in street battles fought in that long ago time (67 to 70) . It handled quite squirrelly and got at best 11mpg on the highway, (3.91 or 4.10 gear) city about 7mpg driving like you had a cop behind you. It did not get mileage only yardage if steeping on it at traffic light Grand Prees. .

Yes boys and girls our LS2 powered well suspended Vette is good enough for me, considering its stock, and how few thousand bucks could improve things quit a lot.

I'm completely satisfied. The Z51 equipped C6 offers me all the performance capabilities I will need for a while.

I am not dissatisfied with the performance of the C6. It is an incredibly well-balanced vehicle both in straight line acceleration, cornering and braking. That being said, there's always room for improvement....

I'm already scheduled for the Lingenfelter 403 package conversion, Corsa sport exhaust, coated LG Pro long tube headers, LPE CAI, Z06 sway bars plus a couple other goodies. I'm expecting 550+hp and 500+ft lbs torque. Next, I'll make major upgrades to the braking system. After that....żQuién sabe?

These modifications should not be interpreted as dissatisfaction with the stock C6....I am simply looking to achieve an even greater level of satisfaction!

it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. When it does not do that, then maybe I will search for more power.

Completely satisfied. Realistically, on the street, you get into illegal speeds in 5 seconds, and idiotic speeds in 10 seconds, totally f-in out of your mind speeds in 15 seconds, so what's the point?

Nonetheless, there's no such thing as too much hp, so I'll mod just for the fun of it!
