My DIC is a "Plain Jane", nothing showing 99% of the time!

I rotate between all of the engine displays. It drives my wife nuts.

Same here.. and when I finish playing with the DIC, I play with the NAV (just to keep my hands busy)... drives her even more nuts .. and then I page through the HUD displays..

Too bad I don't get emails directly on the HUD along with access to the Corvette Forum when I get bored.. no wait I have 400hp, I never get bored!

Mostly oil temp. We've been right at or over 100 for the last few weeks and the temp runs between 210 and 230 most of the time. I am a little concerned with the temps, but with synth. oil it should not be a problem. I am anxious to see how long it takes to warm up once we get down in the 40-50 range. Also mine starts about about 100 degrees in the morning, with garage temps in the high 80's low 90's.

Oil temperature, I agree with the others who want to monitor warm up and motor condition frictionwise in case of problems.

I have kept mine blank, but the oil temp. idea is a good one, I may rethink how I use the DIC after this.

What is too high for oil temp? I have been running about 218 degree range here too (minnesota) Also what is considered "Warmed up" and safe to get on the throttle?

Yeah, I was wondering the same.
I have now the oil temperature displayed, but I don't exactly know what's warm enough and what's too warm.

I like to have a look at it, but I don't know what it means

anything under 300 is okay. I've hit 284 on the track w/o problems. 150-180 is considered "warmed up".
