Default "Modified"!!

Just wondering how much have you spent on mods and accesories?
It seems as though anyone who is on this forum on a daily basis is bound to "mod" Thier vette one day!
I think it's hard not to see all this Horsepower #'S and whatnot, and not want to "Mod" Your vette!

I want you guys with the Lingenfelter packages and such to chime in too.

I'll start it off.

Callaway Honker: $390.00
LG Pro Long Tube Headers. $1795.00
Valentine 1: $400.00
ECM Tuning : $250.00
Mats: $100.00
SIR-GM1 $94.00
Z51 Badges $100.00
GM Bra: $100.00

$3229.00

Thanks,

DSOM Z51

oops, forgot the Optima Yellow top battery. $169.00

That takes it to $3,398.00

Splash guard: $50

Total $50.

Only had it for a month.

Next mod will be Z51 sway bars ~$165
Rust-Oleum paint for caliper ~$4

I like the car as is. I rather save any major mod money and use it to fund c7.

I hear you Downsouth, on not wanting to think about the $$$. Thinking about it hurts the enjoyment. Plus I would not want to incriminate myself in case someone knows my wife.

Mods:

Visual
Down South Shifter and Armrest
Polished Exhaust Enhancement - Not installed yet
Lloyds Floor Mats and Trunk Mat
Chrome License Plate Bracket
Z06 painted Spoiler and Door Handles
Invisacord

The Important Stuff
LG Long Tube Headers
Lingenfelter Cold Air Intake
Custom Tune
Wilwood Big Brake Kit
Steel Braided brake lines
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Tunnel Plate
Z51 Sway Bar
Custom 3/16" Billet Wheel Spacers (brake clearance and that extra wide stance by a whopping 3/8"
Michelin PS2s (great tire!)
2nd set of Stock Wheels with Hoosier R6 competition tires
Royal Purple Tranny and Diff Oil

Within 2 weeks
Aftermarket Radiator
Oil Cooler (either interal in radiator or external)
LG World Challenge 19X11/18X10 wheels
Larger (more expensive )PS2s
Ported and cleaned up Stock Intake Manifold
DSV Shift and Emergency Brake Boots
Black Stock Seat (already have) covers to match my 2-tone colors
Corsa Sport Exhaust - Maybe??

I do love my car!! She is very fast for having no major engine mods and handles incredibly. With as much negative camber as possible while remaining within specs, this car sticks to the road like crazy. Great combo!

I was kind of in the dog house when the C6 just appeared at home as I guess I neglected to tell my wife when I ordered it (my bad).

The cost of modifications to date? Well I never added-in my license plate frame or my radar detector but let's just say it's not as much as TRJ and about twice what my wife thinks it is.

Paula is working-on a hood-liner and I'm planning just a few more performance enhancing mods when I get time this summer. I can honestly say it is money well-spent....the enjoyment I get everytime I drive the car makes it all worthwhile!
