Checked mine today. Left side nut could be removed with my fingers. Right side fine.

That's the opposite of most of us. Left (drivers) was tight and right side was loose.

People are always saying I must have a screw loose... But in this case, my results are pretty much typical?
I have 4,000 miles on my '07 Coupe (F55).
Left (driver's) side took very little force to make the torque wrench click.
But the passenger side axle nut took about a quarter of a turn just to snug it up and then the typical amount of force before it "clicked".
Maybe overkill --- but I went ahead and double nutted the suckers. Now I'm concerned that my top-end speed will be adversely affected by all of that additional weight (two nuts) I've added. Time to go on a diet...
Or, perhaps a vasectomy is in order?

Both of mine were about one rotation loose, but then again I only have 6000+ miles on it.

Checked my 06 with 4500 mi and both sides were very loose. A 33 MM fit perfect. I advise all to check those spindle nuts.

Good to keep this thread alive, as new members are joining all the time.
Perhaps this should be added to the FAQ sticky under "Known Issues".

Checked my new '08 today (900 delivery miles this past weekend) Nuts were to spec, but I double nutted it to be sure it stays that way!
